/ ARoS Aarhus Art Museum
The exhibition – Bacon, Freud, and the London Painters – was a collaboration between ARoS and Tate showing works by a number of seminal artists often referred to as the School of London. Painters from the post-war period, including Francis Bacon, Lucian Freud, Leon Kossoff, Frank Auerbach, Michael Andrews, R.B. Kitaj and Paula Rego.
Building on an underlying concept of existentialism and absurd theatre, the catalogue mimics a theatre manuscript.
An absurd book.
